No artistic experience is needed, and you'll leave with a finished project to take home the same day.
Every project at Art Cafe is hand-carved by local artist Shelly Drews, making each visit a little different from the last. From sleepy bears and whimsical fish to dogs, flowers, and Michigan-inspired designs, our selection is always changing. Choose a piece that speaks to you, paint it in your own unique style, and leave with a one-of-a-kind keepsake you'll treasure for years to come.

Choose from over 30 unique hand-carved wooden art projects, with prices starting at $20 and ranging up to about $50 depending on size and complexity.
We provide all paints, brushes, and supplies - just bring your creativity!
Most guests spend about an hour painting, but you're welcome to take a little extra time if needed.
Walk-ins are welcome, though reservations are recommended during busy times.
No artistic experience is required. Our projects are designed to be fun and approachable for all skill levels.All ages welcome but we recommend it for painters 10+
